Charity Gold & Green Ball in aid of Macmillan and Marie Curie Cancer SupportMany years ago, my mother died of that horrible disease cancer. She was one of 13 children, 12 of them were taken by this terrible illness. I am not the only person who has been touched by this in our lives. I am sure there are many stories amongst our ranks. I have always wanted to do something positive for those who assisted her in her final months and the many like them.
This will be one of two events aimed at fundraising for Macmillan and Marie Curie, who's colours are, believe it or not 'GOLD' & 'GREEN'. Please put this date in your diaries and invite your friends. A Ball with a purpose.
If you too, would like to do any fund raising, prior to this event. Perhaps you may wish to do a fundraiser of your own, prior to the ball and bring your donations on the night of the ball, just like our national children in need apeal, on TV.
